We have an important UNIFORM FITTING on SATURDAY, JUNE, 7, 2008, at the Plymouth Cultural Center, 525 Farmer Street in Plymouth.  Varsity fitting is at 9:00A, JV at 10:00A, Freshman at 11:00A, and Jr. Freshman at 12:00N.  Please call (734) 981-7292 if you need directions.  Uniforms take a number of weeks to order so it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ATTEND!  The girls will be measured for proper uniform fit and shoe size and orders will be placed for their personal body liners and cheer shoes.  If you do not make arrangements to be fitted, we will "guesstimate" a size for you and take the chance that it will fit properly come August.  Uniforms will be distributed in August at Equipment Handout.  Also, at Uniform Fitting, you will obtain your Steelers Parent Information Packet with all the rules, regulations, guidelines, and upcoming dates and schedule for the Steelers' games and events.
 

The Steelers provide uniforms and warm-ups with the exception of the following items: body liner, shoes, hair bow, fleece headband, gloves and Poms.  Parents, please BRING YOUR CHECKBOOK to the fitting and be prepared to pay for the body liner, shoes, hair bow, and Poms.  The estimated cost for these items is:

Body liner - $60
Shoes - $45
Hair bow - $10
Poms - $30

The headband and gloves must be purchased, but can be purchased later in August at Equipment Handout.  The headband is a Steelers design personalized with the cheerleader's initials and must be purchased through the Cheer Director.  The headband may be purchased at Uniform Fitting or on Equipment Handout day.  The cost of the headband is $10.  All new cheerleaders are required to purchase a headband.  Veterans can purchase a new one, if needed.  Black gloves will be available for purchase for $10 but can be purchased at any location prior to start of the season.  If you are a Veteran and your body liner and shoes still fit, you will not need to purchase new ones.  Rookies, and Veterans needing a new size, may purchase used body liners at a discounted price, if available.  This discounted liner cost is $30.
 

Come prepared to the fitting wearing a sports bra/cami/tank top and cotton shorts under your regular clothing to get the best fit.  Veterans, bring your old body liner to confirm that it will still be the correct size.  Don't tell us it fits.  Show us!  Also, bring your hair bow to confirm that you have the correct bow and angle socks for shoe fitting.
